Alistair Fang
Alistair was admitted to practice in Victoria, Australia after graduating from Monash University (Clayton) with a double Bachelor of Laws (LLB Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom).
Alistair previously worked as an economist for 4 years with the Victorian Department of Treasury & Finance working in macroeconomic analysis and forecasting. Subsequently, Alistair worked in private practice. Due to his experience working in a government department, Alistair has a strong understanding of regulatory regimes and compliance including processes within government structures and other regulatory bodies.
In private practice, Alistair has assisted and advised clients on a full range of commercial matters including the review of business and property contracts, registration of trademarks, contractual disputes and franchising. Additionally, Alistair has assisted many clients with wills, estate planning, and estate administration.
Although Alistair has gained a broad range of experience in commercial, property and estate planning, Alistair’s expertise is migration law. Alistair is adept at the migration laws and regulations in Australia, and has extensive experience in assisting clients with all visa categories including employer sponsored visa, skilled migration, business and investment visas, partner visas, student and temporary graduate visas, and other categories of temporary and permanent visas including citizenship applications. He has been successful with assisting clients with visa submissions to the Department of Home Affairs and reviews at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Alistair has an aptitude to solve complex issues and a natural ability to explain complex concepts to clients in a clear and easy-to-understand way. His approach is methodical, and he handles each matter with careful attention, taking into account a client’s unique requirements and desired outcomes. Alistair prides himself with being meticulous, proactive, innovative and responsive at all matters.
Alistair is a registered migration agent and a member of the Office of the Migration Agents Registrations Authority.
